Communication begins with ethics, because knowing how to communicate information tactfully or ethically is essential for a number of reasons. For example, promoting proper ethical communication in an organization or business practice contributes to productivity. Also, when employees follow ethical guidelines, they are able to focus more on tasks, because ethical communication contributes to a safer work environment. In addition, practicing proper ethics increases customer satisfaction, because clients can easily identify employees that are content with their organization or business practice.

Learn to communicate: communication is very important for all types of relationships. However, a person does not need to have a communication degree to be effective at delivering a message to others. Many people are effective communicators, because they learned these skills through socializing with friends or at work. Even so, it is very important to know the fundamentals of communication, because an individual can use this knowledge to improve their skills with friends or with employees in a business practice or organization. Finally, learning communication skills is also important for international business relations.

Different types of Communication:

Interpersonal communication: involves face to face communication, or group communication. For example, the sender transmits a message to the receiver (a person or group of people).

Organizational communication: requires a person to evaluate group dynamics and efficiency, or (how employees relate with each other in group settings).

Rhetoric: communicating effectively to convince or to persuade a particular audience.

Communication and training: to communicate knowledge to individuals or develop their skills in groups or organizational settings.

Careers in the Communication Field:

Technical writing: is information that is technical in nature, and is written for a non-technical audience. For example, a technical writer may prepare a brochure designed to educate a particular audience, or may prepare instructions for the general public.

Public Relations: is a field that deals with protecting or managing the image of a high profile individual in an organization, and it also deals with protecting the image or managing the image of an organization. For example,  a public relations specialist may hold a news conference to protect the image of a high profile individual.

Mass Media or Journalism: to communicate information or news to a large audience. For example, a television news station transmits information to reach a large audience, and the internet is used to reach a large audience as well.

Networking

The purpose of the LinkedIn website is to promote yourself and your career by making new contacts, because LinkedIn is a social network. It is networking with other professionals who have the power to influence a person’s career or business.
Furthermore, the website gives a person exceptional exposure, because “executives from all Fortune 500 companies are LinkedIn members”(LinkedIn Corporation, 2008, Pg 1) . In addition, LinkedIn is a helpful tool for potential employees. Because a potential employee will gain additional knowledge by becoming a member of this website.
Also, a company can share information and make a profit by establishing new contacts, or they could share information and sell their services by using other agents from other  companies, and LinkedIn is also good for finding new clients for business owners, but most importantly this website is essential for building relationships and communicating with professionals from around the world.
In closing, I think this website is excellent for people looking for new jobs, because it offers knowledge, expertise and exposure, and in my opinion, LinkedIn is essential for people who have degrees or people who own businesses.
